  • If you need a push this is it!

I have done many interviews in the last month and I typically ask about timing. What was the reason you did “blank” during “this” time?
Often people would talk about well we decided to start a family or it wasn’t the right time in their career or they felt the timing was off. On the other side people felt like they were not ready because their wasn’t enough time.

If you are feeling compelled to take a jump in your career, family life or new hobby. Now is the time. Stop waiting for the perfect time.

  • 🏕 As much as I love technology and to be plugged in, I absolutely enjoy disconnecting and reconnecting with nature.
Went “glamping” with the family for a long weekend and it was so fun to discover rocks and sticks in the eyes of a 1 year old.

  • When I found out I had the opportunity to go on a work trip for 5 days, I struggled to think about leaving my son for that long and on his birthday.

So we brought a baby to Las Vegas.

New video up today to talk about my experience and if I would do it again! Link is in the bio.

Thanks to my awesome partner and my parents in law for helping out 🤍

  • Male jobs vs female jobs?

Growing up we were always told in school that there is no such thing. I grew up in the 90s and I can tell you I saw gender related jobs in most households.

Mothers would be in charge of running the house hold, cleaning, laundry, ironing, groceries and cooking on the stove.

Fathers would be in charge of mowing the lawn, BBQing , changing tires, roof maintenance, garbage etc.

This past weekend I was on the roof taking Christmas lights off my house ( I know I’m late) I got many stares as people were driving by. When I told my husband I was going to do this task today he said no that’s his job. When I decided to ask him why he said that because he always has done it.

If you are stuck in gender related roles in your house because it’s always been like that from generation to generation, I would ask you to switch it up to show the next generation that this doesn’t exist.

  • Experience comes from actually doing, trying new things, and putting yourself out there.
How many times have you done something, travelled somewhere and feel like you still didn’t fully experience because you held yourself back of fear of trying new things.
Every time I apply for a job, try a new hobby or taste a new food I look forward to the experience it brings me.
Good or bad. Keep in mind both are an experience that opens your mind to new learnings.
